I know these pieces are rare, and I wish this had been a priority when these gentlemen were living, but if anyone has or knows of a musical instrument (or really any item) for sale that was made by Edd Presnell, Stanley Hicks, Leonard or Clifford Glenn, Frank Proffitt, Jr. (or other Watauga County, NC craftsmen), please message me. I live in Watauga County, and these men are all cousins of mine to some degree or another, and I would love to have one of their handcrafted items as part of a collection commemorating our mountain heritage. Thank you.

Since Proffitt's design was so often copied I wonder how a retailer determines the provenance of a folk banjo.  With a listed price of $2000 it seems that might be a difficult thing to prove.
