I have Iida banjo bought in 76, no # on it.
Has Iida est. 1959 and gold star on peg head.
Rectangular pearl insets on fretboard
Finish on back etc. is dark brown
Geared tuners, aluminum ring.
What model do you think?
Thanks, Mike

Not exactly the bottom of the barrel beginner banjo but pretty close. Iiada had 2 models cheaper than that one, it's a model 226, bottle cap beginner banjo. They can be made to sound not to bad with the right set-up, good enough for someone just starting or for campfire sing-alongs.
