My cousin’s granddaughter has Down’s Syndrome and a couple of years ago was diagnosed with Leukemia, which is not uncommon for such children. After a grueling treatment regimen she went into remission status and when asked what she wished to do to celebrate, she wanted to have a big family party to mark the occasion along with her fourth birthday. I went to the party and promised her mom and dad that I’d compose a tune in her honor, and this is what I came up with.

Aine must have danced a storm to her tune, with rainbow smiles. Inspiring tune, Rick!
