"The Manhattan Minstrel" Eddy Davis playing and singing an old "Pop" tune written in 1930 by Sid Clare and Sam Stept. I recorded this song with LEON REDBONE on his "Champagne Charlie" album and when I traveled with him we use to perform this tune regularly on stage. Davis is playing his Custom OME 12' head - 17 fret neck Tenor Banjo.
Please don't forget to look at my 2 youtube channels -- you can find both of them on my website theeddydavis.com under youtube channels. Eddy
Great song and well played. Way cool that you played with Redbone. I used to drive my kids crazy listening to him. Loved his music.
Leon and his wife Barrel are not doing so good -- I understand. I do miss him. Eddy
