Recorded just now in the garage during a bout of insomina, one of Woodie Guthry's wonderful children's songs, "Why, Oh Why." I memorized the lyrics a year ago but only in the last week worked up a way to play it. It'll get better with practice but I can never wait to record a song I've just learned, so you get to hear the warts. Played in double-C on a Goodtime Parlor.
I didn't think I could sing as high as this. Well, maybe I still can't, but this song in this key would have sent me into falsetto not long ago. I like to imagine I'm getting better at using my voice.
I forgot to add an instrumental break. It could use one.
