Doug

Me either, and I'm planning to have a car too. You've got options! (as do other Nashcampers).

I've not been following this thread, which appears to be populated significantly by October Nashcampers. But I'm here now, and I'm really looking forward to a great weekend with you all!

After a night at The Station Inn, I'm crashing at the Comfort Inn. I'd rather drive to camp in the morning. Can't wait!

Hey Rick,Nice picture! Finally!!
Kerri Antes will be the hostest with the mostest and will be needing a head count for dinner reservations..
If I recall a rainy windy night,we can run from the Station Inn to the Comfort Inn in relatively little time.

Count me in for dinner and the Inn. Doug, if your car isn't full yet, I'll spit the cost with you and hitch a ride. However, there might be enough people to need more then one car, in which case, I could grab another. I fly in aroung 3:30.
Thanks, and see ya there.

I'm in for the works, Kathy. I'm keeping my room at the Comfort Inn even though they're allowing people to stay at the camp Thursday. A short walk after the Station Inn seems to make more sense than a long ride.

I'm doing the same. And I'm actually arriving on Wednesday so I can make the trip up to Glasgow to see Arthur and Bev Hatfield and have the Compass Rose tweaked. Anyone arriving Wednesday or early Thursday is welcome to come along!

No the Gulch has not claimed me. The reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated, however, my wife has recently had some surgery, requiring my presence at home and use of my available leave time, so I will have to forgoe the fun for this year. I will miss you all !

I saw Kristin Scott Benson playing her Chief with Larry Sparks on "Song of the Mountains" on Saturday night. Kristin is one heck of a player and she sure made that Chief sound great. It makes me want to order a Chief of my own.

Alan, wasn't that Larry Stephenson she was playing with? No matter, the banjo sounded great; she sure can pick it.

You're right, Darrell. Thanks for correcting that for me. It was Larry Stephenson and I can't tell you how impressed I am with Kristin's playing on that show.

I sure am glad, because when I first read your other post, I was disappointed that I had missed a show (I have my DVR set to record them).

She can definitely pick, and she's a very nice person too.

Big gig tomorrow night. My band "Picnic" is doing an outside gig for a hunting lodge.
We've got around 45 songs ready for a 3 hour show. It's less than half bluegrass but it should be a blast. I even went out today and bought lights so we wouldn't be playing in the dark. Wow! I feel like a rock band....lights!

NashCamp is next month! Yay!
