I figure we better start another topic for this thread. The part 7 thread is so big it's no longer advancing the page count.

Kathy -
You better listen to the docs and give yourself time to get back to 100%...not easy to do I know, but very important particularly as we get "more refined" in years.
Work is going well...but I must admit I miss the Army ...even after 25 years. I'm not sure who all is coming to camp this year....I don't think Ernie, Mike and Jeff are making the trip But I'm sure you'll get some great jams going. Are you headed down on Thursday? If so and you need a ride from the airport let me know.

Hi Kathy & Doug,

I'm coming to NashCamp as usual. :-) I'll also be visiting my parents in Northern Virginia in the middle of August if you want to get together and pick some, Doug.

Hey guys
I'm headed back again. Saw Earl and Family a few nights ago in Grand Rapids. Pretty special. Anyway, look forward to seeing all of you again, listening to some great music, and trying to play some resemblance of what we hear. Are you stayin at camp Thurs. night?

I'll be there! Driving this year so I have no idea when I'll get there. I'll be at the pre-game festivities on Thursday night for sure. Probably staying at the Comfort Inn Music Row again Thursday night.

Just got back from an evening in the studio with my mahogany Chief #18, working on the new Dappled Grays album. That banjo sounds AMAZING in the studio!

Just booked my room at the Comfort Inn Music Row! I might be there Wednesday night too, depending on how long my drive time is.

Stan..Brenda and I are planning on going down on Wednesday so we can get up early on Thursday and check out the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. If time allows we may run out to the Gibson Showcase....Monty

That was my thinking too, Monty. A good night sleep Wednesday night, and then off to the Showcase, Gruhn's and other music places on Thursday. See you and Brenda at Camp!

BTW, has anyone heard from Poke Chipe lately?

Hey Stan..... still around just been really busy

Unfortunately I have that Fire Museum benefit that I cut out early for last year the same weekend again as Nashcamp. Our State hasn't passed a budget and city services are getting slashed so I'm secretly hoping my gig up here gets cancelled in time to head back to camp.

If it does.... I'm up for car pooling

Hope all is well with the Tribe

I assume you guys got Cindy's email about the on-site lodgings on Thursday evening.

I'm already signed up to Stay at Camp Marymount on Thursday evening.

Hi NashCampers!

Good news - Camp Marymount will let us check in on Thursday after 5:00 PM. So, if you'd like to get in your room early, let me know. You may also check in after the Station Inn concert. I'll be going back to Marymount that night so I will be there to help. Cost is an extra $30.00 and you will be on your own for breakfast. Perhaps we can all run up to the famous Loveless Motel for country ham, home-made bisquits and eggs?

NashCamp begins on Friday with lunch at noon.

Can't wait for camp!

Kathy - looks like its about 50 minutes from the airport to the camp site; about 40 minutes from the Station Inn. I've got a rental car and I'd be happy to get you there.....I'm staying at the Comfort Inn on Thursday night.....don't feel like driving an hour after the Station Inn Thursday night.
