Notes: Here is a developed version of Roger Miller's King of the Road. I have put together several instruments, so the tab shows
• Melody as sung, tabbed out for banjo, and showing lyrics and chords (similar to lead sheet)
• Solo banjo, based on the core melody, but with rolls and fill-in breaks and embellishments
• Back-up banjo playing a counter-melody based on rolls
• Rhythm guitar
• Bass, playing a counter-melody (similar to back-up banjo but without “banjo rolls”)
• Hand clapping
Unfortunately, the pdf is rather difficult to read because it includes all instruments.
