Notes: This is a melodic tab for Stan Rogers' "The Idiot." It's in the key of D (gCGCD capo 2). The chords above the tab are for guitar. If you want to strum behind singing in the key of D with double-C tuning and the capo at the 2nd fret, you would use chord shapes for C, F, Am and G in place of D, G, Bm and A.
