Notes: I found this version of Frankie and Johnny in an old song book: "Folk Song U.S.A. by John A. Lomax and Alan Lomax, copyrighten in 1947, and first printing in 1966". Lomax claims that this version was collected by John A Lomax and that it origins from about 1910. I made a straight clawhammer arrangement, following the melody of the song. In the song book the song was presented in the key of F, but here I chose to use the key of G and standard G tuning. (the mp3 file is tab generated!)
