Notes: I heard this on an LP 'Fingers on Fire' from the Country Gentlemen, sounds like it could have been Eddie Adcock; this tab is not exactly off record, it is closer to how I played it in amongst the mp3's collection posted today 28/11/2019 ….I loved his version and I guess I don't mind mine, coz it's as near as I could get to the original.

This sounds a lot like Bye Bye Blues, except that it is in the key of G and Bye Bye Blues is traditionally played in C. Wondering if they just transposed the song and then renamed it.

It does sound like a slow version of Bye Bye Blues, the same progression but in key of G; I'd reckon the originator would have been noodling around with the progression and put their favorite licks to work ...there was no group personnel shown on the record cover, but I expect it would have been Eddie Adcock, the album came out to Australia in the '60's ...it's a bit like Don Reno's style but am not sure if he was ever in the Country Gentlemen.
