I was talking to a jazz ragtime banjo player about possibly learning . I play 5 string and thought the increased chord knowledge would be great . Then he told me it was tuned differently and nearly lost me. His was a plectrum player
This tuning would be easy as pie for a guitar player. Going to try it on 5 string to see how i like it. Also going to the library to find a chord book. I only know open g,c, moveable d , f and the bar chord. Oh and em. There seems to be a moveable em on the 4th fret. Very cool.
