Notes: As best I can recall, I first heard this lovely traditional tune on Tony Rice’s initial solo album on Rounder Records (entitled “Tony Rice,” appropriately enough). There was no banjo break on the track – J. D., where were you? – and so I worked out a break that followed Rice’s chord structure (other versions may employ slightly different chords). I have posted the tab here.
