Notes: My first attempt at Grandpa Jones "Down the old Plank Road" which I play along with often. This is a beginner version which can be improvised to include a lot more strumming rather than single note as noted. Lyrics included. For the chorus I use a long 2-4 slide on the 3rd string to for the word "Won't". Grandpa played in key of A, so capo 2 to match, and play around with the strumming. Grandpa Jones version can be heard @:

Added a page 2 to the download link to emphasize more the frailing and provide an interlude (between chorus and next verse) and possible intro. Also an additional link for the song itself as well as the Youtube link (copy & paste to URL address) Need suggestions on how to make it closer to the Grandpa Jones version. Please provide feedback. Next project, Grandfather's Clock (same key).

Further updated. When I added page 2, I mixed some tabs with tabs I was working on for Somebody touched me (clawhammer). My apologies, this plays smoother, and has been corrected.
