I can't open it either. Something about a non registered product or something. I dunno, whatever it is, sounds illegal.

This is terrible! the tab is complete shit. the picking pattern is 4321 5321 and then you do that for each chord G,D,Em and C

i am unsure if this is allowable and i apologize if i have stepped over the line in referring those of you interested to another website but in the february banjo newsletter tom adams has tabbed it out and it's available in the printed copy and available for purchase online on his and the banjo newsletter website ... also he plays two breaks up and down the neck ... i love this song and so glad to have a tab for it

.tef files require the program TablEdit to open them. There is a free demo of that program available that probably will open and perhaps print the file. It's a proprietary format, so unlike .pdf, nothing else will open it. To get a full license for TablEdit costs about $60 the last time I looked, so .tef is probably not the greatest format for sharing tab files.

Understood about using TablEdit or TefView to view the .tef files, but this particular one gives an error when trying to open it. 06: File does not appear to been created by the registered version of TablEdit.
