Banjo is tuned to an Open Cm tuning with the fifth string tuned to a high-C note (c C G C Eb). NOTE: The tuning changes to an Open C tuning at the end of the song.

THANK you... I had a general chord sheet for the song and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get that harmonizing twang... I was just trying making a Cm chord in root position tuned to an open G. I thought the difference in sound between me and the guy on Youtube playing an aluminum rim with a teflon non-stick aluminum frying pan resonator was he must be he's packing a hidden bell bronze tone ring.
