Notes: My version of the Skillet Lickers Black-Eyed Susie. It's a work in progress, but sounds good to me, even if I'm not that proficient at it yet.
Their version doesn't really follow any ABAB pattern, as such, but I do - I'm simple like that!

Notes: I found a Tab at the suggestion of a BHO friend, and proceeded to learn. It's got some great pop to it, and is great fun to play. So this is how I play it!

Notes: The old O, Brother Where art thou classic (that's where I learned it from anyway!)
Thought I'd post it in Old-D (Double C Capo'd 2) as we'd had some forum discussion about this song and that's how I play it.

Notes: I first heard SilasBanjo play this on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlDuk5NLprQ) and fell in love with it (It's been my ringtone ever since!) I went in search of a TAB to help me learn it and eventually pieced together a version, just ever-so slightly different from his wonderful version.
It evolves each time I play it, but it's very catchy. This is my latest incarnation (but one - changed the b-part to be more like the Silas one). I believe the original writer to be Michael Fox, but correct me if I'm wrong!

Notes: My current favourite tune - it's in a weird tuning f#DF#AD and written by Paul Brown. My take on the tune from Ken Perlmans Clawhammer Style Banjo book.

Notes: It's a Beginner Tab, because I'm a Beginner, but it does have some slides and Hammer-on's (just for a little colour!)
