Notes: This tab is based on Jim Reed's YouTube performance of his original tune - Reed's Hornpipe which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1l5Hn3GEio&feature=plcp
I downloaded the video, re-synced the audio and then extracted the audio to a separate file. The Amazing Slow Downer was used on the audio track while observing the video. This should be a pretty accurate transcription of Jim's performance.
Chord shapes and fingerings are noted when appropriate.
The style of this tune is Melodic Bluegrass.
Enjoy!
- Ric
