In my opinion this is the perfect banjo. Steve built it to my specifications yet also offered guidance for the things wasn't sure of. I play clawhammer in my home at camp and small gatherings and the sound is amazing and not to loud to sing along with. The playabilty is the best I've experienced.

The set up is spot on. The action is set up perfectly for playing over the scoop or the head without any interference issues.

The appearance is fine furniture quality. The peghead inlay and brass plated scoop are awesome and are complemented by the hawk tail tail piece. This banjo looks as good as it sounds.

The customer service is the best. Steve actually answers the phone and is willing to spend the time talk about the banjo you want. He sent many pictures of the build while it was in process.
