Sound

Suits My style of play just fine. ,Works well as a scruggs style but really shines as a clawhammer banjo. What a great sounding banjo has that old timey haunting sound ... at least to my ear! fingerpicked it is bright and alive. I like the overall feel of this banjo ,(very solid feeling) projects very well. Feels Like it will last...

Appearance

A real looker ! the inlays look old not like the plastic ones on my Fender fb-58. .the finish is a dark stain that looks great. the neck feels fast very comfortable to play.Neck is bound as well as the back of the pot rim nice touch! Mine has the no knot tailpiece 5/8'' bridge ebony fretboard with cloud inlays and optional frailing cutout. Whyte ladye tone ring
