I originally started searching for a more comfortable pick and read many reviews here on BH. I was intrigued by the longer blade of the Old 97 pick and the way they rode higher up on the finger ABOVE the cuticle. I am a newer player and may not be able to notice much of a difference in playing ability, but the comfort of these picks is incredible. It took a few practice sessions to get used to them, but now I find myself practicing longer because my cuticles aren't killing me.
I also want to commend Judy on her customer service. I followed the link from her website to order a pair and it sent me to an eBay store. I ordered a pair at 11:00pm and they were shipped the next morning, with my initials complementary stamped on the middle pick.
