I contacted Bart about what bridge to pick for a nlygut strung semi-fretless Pisgah with a skin head - I could tell that the banjo was muted thanks to the ebony-topped bridge (which had worked fine for steel strings). Bart suggested a two-footed mystery wood bridge....boy was he right!! The banjo opened right up - lots of volume and SO MUCH BASS (which I love....)!
Unfortuantely, I was buying this bridge to prep the banjo for sale....and now I kinda dont want to sell it!
Bart was fantastic to deal with - he made the bridge to my exact specs, including matching the slot sizes to perfectly accommodate the nylgut strings! He shipped it out quickly as well!
