This jewel is perfect. The sound is strong, clear. The tone is rich and loud with out any buzzing.

I think one reason my banjo sounds great is because of the expert setup. Dave asked me numerous questions about my playing and what I expected from the Deering. It has factory spikes on frets 7,9 & 10.
i have not made any setup changes.

The banjo is mahogany with a high gloss finish. Has engraved inlays and Ebony finger board with mother of pearl diamond shaped inlays
I did not find any imperfections.
