This being my first serious banjo, the sound absolutely blew me away. It has great volume and the sound holds true with microphones as I don't use amps or pickups during performances. Due to the longer neck, the banjo has wonderful low notes with very rich and full sound.

The guys at Banjo.com did an excellent job of setting up the banjo. The action is perfect resulting in effortless fretting all the way up the neck. They were also more than willing to help me out for free when my 5th string started to sound a little twangy.

I'm honestly not too sure about the exact types of wood but it looks like good wood to me! Very nice looking banjo with a silver pot and some nice inlayed rings on the back of the resonator. It has some classic inlays including the flying eagle on the first fret. The banjo was absolutely flawless when purchased.

I've been playing this banjo any time I get a chance and it's held up perfectly so far. I also have no plans on it giving up on me either! I've used it at many gigs without the slightest concern of it quitting on me. I plan to have this banjo for many more years.

Banjo.com is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't even think of buying a banjo anywhere else. The guys really know their stuff, have a great selection, and are willing to let you try out any banjo you want. They've tinkered around with my 5th string for free after a small buzz due to some high humidity over an extended period of time.

The overall feel of the banjo just seems extremely solid and well made which makes me feel great about the purchase. The armrest isn't weak or cheap, but I'll most likely replace with with a wooden one at some point.

This is my first real banjo and I couldn't be any happier. I'll use this and remain completely satisfied until I really step it up to a Mastertone or Staghorn. Great banjo without a doubt.
