Where Purchased: Kat Eyz web site
After quite a lot debate I decided on a Kat Eyz design with frame of McCormick Spice with a pegged top of Rosewood, standard spacing with a 5/8 height. The reason for the debate is simple check out the site for yourself and you will see that all the choices are really attractive. I've put this on an RK Elite 75 and the results are fantastic. The banjo was pretty good as it was but this bridge just enhances everything good about the banjo. After making the order Mike got in touch quickly just to confirm my order and let me know that he was using the same bridge on his banjo also and that I wouldn't be disappointed. He was right. Highly recommend this bridge.

Simply put a really effective good looking tailpiece. Fairly easy to put on, took about 20 minutes and once on it's not moving and it looks really nice as well. It also makes changing strings very easy. Overall a really nice high quality tailpiece that is easy to recommend.

Where Purchased: Little Mountain Music
A well made, comfortable, nice looking and reasonably priced armrest. I found the standard nickel plated armrest uncomfortable after even moderate use so decided to have a look to see what alternatives there where. I came onto the BHO to have a read of the various reviews and decided on the Thinline. Went onto the Little Mountain Music site and saw that there was a two for the price of one deal which made a reasonably priced armrest fantastic value. I ordered both the curly maple and cherry armrests and also a tone enhancer. Following the order I contacted the site and received a reply quickly and must say that Doug was an absolute gentleman to deal with. The armrests are easy to install and look really nice and are extremely comfortable. Great buy highly recommend.

Where Purchased: Thomann on line
Very loud and bright, it came fairly well set up . Waiting for a new Fults tailpiece to arrive and also a new Kat Eyz bridge to really hear how good this banjo can sound.

Setup was done and pretty good when the banjo arrived. I'm going to change the strings and try a few different ones but I'm waiting for a new Fults parallel tailpiece and a Kat Eyz bridge to arrive and also a Thinline armrest to change them all at the same time.

The banjo came as standard but was in a good case so there were no faults on arrival. The inlay is flying eagle in MOP and is nice. A lovely finish on the mahogany neck and resonator in nitrocellulose lacquer .

Only dealt with Thomannn who are a very large music store in Germany. As I live in Ireland this was the cheapest deal on this banjo I could find after shopping around. The people I dealt with were always pleasant and helpful but it did take them 10days from time of purchase to the time they actually shipped the banjo. I never dealt with Recording King but there is a limited life time warranty.

All components were of a good standard, just changing a few parts as I've mentioned to try to get the best out of this banjo not because they needed to be changed. The bridge is a a maple bridge with ebony top, it has a presto style tailpiece and the armrest is good but I just like to change things a bit.

Overall I believe the RK Elite 75 to be excellent value for money. A great sounding banjo with plenty of volume. I'm still a novice on the banjo and bought this banjo as an upgrade but after having had this banjo for a few months now feel that however proficient I become there would be no need to change or up grade it. That's not saying that I won't buy another banjo in the future but I wouldn't need to.
