I feel I need to post a review about Time and his bridges!
I have purchased several from Tim now and am really impressed , not only with the tone and workmanship but with the Experience of buying it as well. Tim make a beautiful bridge, the finish is second to none and he is carring and responsive when it comes to tonewood suggestions, etc,
I have one of his Black Locust, heavy, Crowe spaced on my Enoch Tradesman All Walnut banjo and it solicits a beautiful, warm, bell like tone from the instrument.
I went to purchase another for my Cherry Tradesman and Tim asked if I would try out a Cherry bridge with ebony top and give an opinion on it, as he was thinking about adding Cherry to his line up. Flattered, I agreed and just installed this on My Cherry tradesman, I had also installed a raw brass Rickard Dobson style tone ring on this banjo and it was pretty bright with a Maple bridge on it really cut through so to speak. The Cherry bridge is really nice! He may have something here. It mellowed and rounded the tone out nicely with out killing it . I offered to pay him for the bridge and he graciously declined any payment, wishing me happy picking.
Tim makes a fine product and is a pleasure to do business with.

I just received and tried out a Mike's Banjo Mute. I am impressed! The mute is easy to install and remove, seems to stay secure and really quiets the Banjo. I am especially impressed with the tonal qualities it imparts to my Banjo. Although the banjo is much quieter it really has a wonderful timbre and depth of tone to it. Quite a pleasure to play with the mute installed! I highly recommend this mute to anyone looking for a banjo mute. Defiantly a good investment!, I would purchase again. Shipping was fast , secure and Mike was a pleasure to deal with, I would purchase directly from him and not a third party.
