Great for Bluegrass and three finger picking! Rich sound, nice and bright. This is my first real banjo and it is awesome!

The banjo was set up perfectly! strings were nice and low to the frets, the action was great. Paul did a great job setting it up.

Really easy on the eyes, nice gold plated trim. Abalone and MOP on the neck looks great! That i have been able to see, there were no flaws in the finish or equipment.

Hardware is really top quality, if i played any gigs, I would not have any problems with using this banjo. the gold plating does seem a little thin, but time will tell.

Paul and Kathy at the banjo hut are really exceptional people. The were really friendly, i called with what i thought was a problem and spoke to Paul for at least 15 minutes and he finally straightened me out. Great people to deal with, will definitely buy from them in the future.

For the money I paid, and believer me, I did a lot of looking, I don't think this banjo can be beat.I love this banjo, very professional sounding and impressive looking. As for as comparioson to other banjo's , i think I got the best deal. I have tried sevral name brands along with MM, and this one, to me, can't be beat.
