I installed this to address some tone/ intonation issues with my Fender FB-58 and there has certainly been an improvement in both. Although they recommend having a luthier do the install, I did it myself without too much difficulty. Installation was very straight-forward - 2 hours or so start to finish. Watch the on-line video a couple of times, read the instructions completely and be patient with the process. There was a fair amount of bone to remove to fit the nut, so there was a lot of sanding, and a lot or checking the fit as it got close. The tang of the fret is off-set to provide correct intonation, so I'd encourage marking the top of the fret before the final install to make it easier to insure that the fret orientation is correct.

My only issue was that the frets are supposed to be color-coded as to size, and 2 of the frets were un-marked which did make selecting the fret-wire for installation a bit more tedious than it needed to be. That said, I feel the results were well worth the time and effort.

Zero glide was developed by Wayne Rogers and the folks at Gold Tone, and it's a another example of the interesting products they've been creating there.
