This was my very first banjo and i was in-experienced so I didnt have a style or preference. It sounded good to me before I began taking lessons. Perfect for a beginner

It is a very nice looking banjo. The resonator is very pretty but has no design. Little ivory squares in the inlay of the neck and peg head has design.

The 5th string string peg is cheap. won't stay tuned without tightening the screw after every play. Right angle peg heads are ugly

This was a gift to me but for the price the person paid for it, i would reccommend it for beginner. i really love it but with the aluminum tone ring, it started sounding twangy and I got BAS so I bought another one.
