Don built me the best playing neck I have ever had for my '28 pyramid project. Craftsmanship is beautiful and his communication is really great. He made sure every detail was as I wanted it. Pricing is very fair and his setup work is spot on.

I shipped off an old prewar Gibson 00 rim, Kalamazoo resonator and a brass hoop and Don did the rest. Now I have a lightweight, PERFECTLY SET UP, fantastic sounding banjo that I just absolutely love. Don took care of every little detail, kept me informed all the way along with everything he was doing, and got it shipped back to me in an extremely timely manner. Pricing was way, way better than fair as well. Great value.
I immediately put in an order for a Style 2 neck that I know Don will knock out of the park.
Can't say enough about the overall experience and quality. Don is the best!

I'm a believer in the idea that there is a perfect bridge out there for every banjo, and i believe that I have found that for my 1929 Style 4 mastertone. I had tried a snuffy smith, bigfoot, grover among other on this banjo and was never satisfied. The "archie" by Bart Veerman brought this banjo to its potential. What Clarity and Power! Just phenomenal and Bart was a very attentive and helpful person to buy something from.

I don't know where i would be without Jack Baker. I have been taking a weekly lesson with him for 8 months now and he has me playing stuff i though it would take years to be able to do. He has been teaching for over 30 years professionally in NYC. You come in, he evaluates your playing and then starts giving you pieces that are appropriate to your level. He is subtle in his style, but he will catch any bad habit you are starting to get into before its too late. I have a degree in songwriting from one of the best music institutions in the world, so i have had a lot of various music teachers. Jack is among the best I've seen. Go take a lesson with him if you are in the NYC area and I promise you won't regret it.
