I truly enjoyed the 80's version and how it was a major bluegrass/country music "bridge".
It played a lot on the country stations back then when I was fishing with Dad.He played pedal steel and liked the steel/bluegrass mix.
I am glad to hear these with a fuller bluegrass treatment.

I've always been partial to good piano playing and Bruce Hornsby delivers.
I love the liveness of these cuts.Just running with it like they do.Charlie Cushman's banjo playing is solid as granite.
Side note: Ricky's guitar player is phenomenal,too.
Bruce embraces Bluegrass and the Kentucky Thunder embraces the modern...Great sharing.
