The banjo has a rich soulful bass, the low notes can be felt and are a form of sound therapy for me. The mids and highs are crystyal clear. This Banjo has a sound of its own and non other compare.

The set up was perfect, with only tweeking of the Nylgut strings to compensate for stretching in and the natural skin head as it adjusted to it's new invironment.

I would recomment this banjo even if I had paid considerably more than I did and if I ever have to replace it I will pay what ever the going price would be at the time. I absolutely love this banjo and my wire string has been left hanging on the wall wishing it got even half of the playing time
