The banjo has a full warm tone with loads of sustain. It can be bright or mellow depending on the playing style. It's really loud when you give it some welly, but it never sounds harsh or brash.

The wood, hardware and contruction are all spot-on. I can see this instrument lasting a lifetime. I haven't had it long, but you can feel the quility in every aspect of the banjo. I would be suprised if the banjo let me down.

The aged brass hardware looks and feels fantastic. None of the parts feel cheap or likely to fail. I added a walnut arm rest and swapped out the factory bridge for a compensated one as I had good experiences with them in the past. It came in a very high quality branded gig bag.
