Very poor sound quality. Cheap type of tone due to a severe lack of volume and quality.

The appearence of this instrument was very deceiving. It looked good until I received the instrument and was able to examine it up close. The finish was just veneer over cheap quality wood on the neck and resonator. The inlay work on the neck was horrible as it was cheap white plastic cheaply placed into the fingerboard, very dissapointing!

Everything on this instrument was of the cheapest quality possible. But from the photos viewed online it appeared good.

This model of Iida is definately junk and should never purchased. I mistook this for one of the old original production instruments from the 1970s or 80s which were of pretty high quality and at the time were definately a good purchase for the price. If you want an Iida banjo buyers beware, stay away from the newer production instruments as I found out the hard way, they are just junk!
