Just another solid vote of confidence. A couple months ago I picked up banjo and started relearning after 40 years. Didn't realize that such things as 'tuners' existed except for those twisty things thru the far away end of the banjo. Discovered 'Tuner+', which is an iPhone app and thought it was pretty slick. But it was kind of a pain because it just doesn't zero in on the pitch very well. Found the Snark reviews here and checked them out. Heck you can get them for as little as 10 or 15 bucks (shipped) if you look hard enough. No brainer.
All I can say is I love the darn thing. Ain't technology just something else again? I don't know if this is the best of them all, but I gave it a 10 anyway.
