I purchased Mike's Mute on line and received it three days later in the mail. The mute is very easy to put on and take off. It produces a wonderful soft sound and one that I wouldn't mind listening to once in a while when I'm practicing. Thanks, Mike, for producing an excellent quality product.

Never had a mute before and bought this on-line from the USA based on other reviews. It arrived within the specified time and looks good quality. Unfortunately the internet had been down for a few days so I could not access instructions on how to install it, but in the end, it was very intuitive and I had it in place within a minute. The mute's performance was astounding. The sound was very quiet and although a different type of sound, was no problem for practicing. So my initial impressions are that it is a very useful accessory and one I will use a lot. Well worth it and very pleased with it.

Mike's mute really works cutting the ring down to guitar level. I only noticed that the 4th string oscillates wildly when fretted at the 4th position distorting the sound somewhat. I am very pleased with it overall.

Found Mike's Banjo Mute website through a search engine. It was pricey, but seeing the You-Tube video convinced me it was worth the money. The mute quiets the banjo without making it sound muffled like other mutes I own. I own the Iucci banjo mute too, and it doesn't quiet the banjo quite as much as the Mike's. The Mike's still sounds like a banjo while muted. It's worth the money. Mike sends it out personally too, and shipping took like 2-3 days from the time I ordered. I recommend this for the preservation of marriages and good neighboring.
