Wonderful bright sound. This banjo has a bright pleasing sound. It can be set up in a variety of ways to change the sound, I am very pleased with the sound it has just the way it is. I have been playing for one year, I decided to treat myself to this banjo. It may take me a long time to be able to play well enough to do this banjo justice, but it is sure going to be fun getting there!

I took the banjo out of the case, tuned it and started playing it. The action is set low. I have not made any changes, and do not plan on making any in the near future.

A beautiful instrument, the maple is gorgeous, the cremona finish flawless. The tortoise shell binding really makes the maple on this pop. I ordered this with the maple armrest, the armrest perfectly matches the maple on the banjo. This is a very good looking banjo, and it plays as great as it looks.

I had the hardware black powder coated. This added a very nice look to the banjo. All the hardware looks very well made, durable and the finish is very well done.

Bishline is a company that is a treat to deal with. I felt like I was their only customer. Emails were answered quickly, and the phone was always answered promptly. Any and all questions were quickly answered. I have read many reviews about the exceptional customer service Bishline provides, and now having experienced it myself I can say this is a company that exceeds your expectations.

The setup is perfect for me at this time. Not to say I won't tinker with it in the future, but for right now it is great.

Easy on the eyes? You bet it is. The Cremona finish is beautiful and flawless. I got the tortoise binding option and it just makes it pop. Got the laminated neck option also. Nice accent to the neck's finish.

Excellent hardware installed. Finish is bright and appears to be up to the task of lasting a long time.

Rob and Andy are the best. They sent emails, pictures during the process. I had a few questions along the way, and they were "johnny-on-the-spot" in communicating with me either by phone or email.

I supplied the Fults tailpiece, and Keith d- tuners. All other hardware was theirs.

This banjo gives you alot of bang for your buck. This banjo is great, and will last a long time. I can only speak from my perspective, but I could have looked a long time and not found any better banjo than this Bishline Clermont. Couple that with a bunch of nice folks in Tulsa that like to make banjos, and you have a winning combination.
