Really good service: fast, efficient and all done with ease online. They have various direct phone numbers (one for each department) if you want to speak to an assistant, but I didn't use this service due to my happiness with the clarity of online information. The order was processed by a person (rather than a computer) who then emailed me confirmation of my order and provided tracking links.
I bought two items from them: a cheap own brand hard case which is no frills but does the job well; a Recording King RK-R37-SN (the sunburst finish R35) that I love but won't review until I've lived with it for a bit. Both items were very well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. I was a little surprised that they didn't pack the banjo in the case, but the shipping was free (excellent for a German store delivering to the UK) so it was at no cost to me and the packaging was comprehensive and secure. The order was placed late on a Thursday evening and the goods were with me 8am the following Monday. Excellent.
Whilst I am usually reluctant to give full scores for anything (is perfection really achievable?) there is nothing I can complain about with this transaction, so 10 it is.

First time with Thomann, a bit worried after reading one or two bad reviews but have to say they were very good. Great price for my RK025BR banjo, well packaged and delivered in 3 days from Germany to Stockport,UK. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.Only reason I didn't give a ten score, is because when I rang to enquire as to availability, the person in the guitar/banjo department wasn't much help.
