This banjo has an astounding sound.
Rings like a bell with 4th growl lows & highs all the way up the neck.
Sound Rating: 10
My chief interest is in retail price,I don't expect perfect setups from the
Guitar shop who does not specialize in banjos. The reality is "as is"
the loose head, the bridge in improper place, bent neck, the high action
I tightened the head, the truss rod to straighten the neck & gave it a higher bridge to get a best playablity. The cardinal is very responsive to the changes. It's very easy to make setup changes.
Setup Rating: 8
I love the distinctive inlays of brown leaves enclosed with MOP glimmering subtly on the stage &the burled walnut resonator.
No finish flaw,no blemish found on it.A brand new Perfect.
Appearance Rating: 9
Looks like they're assembled with top notched parts,BL tone ring, BL

You can't buy a better walnut banjo than the cardinal in this price range

model.(It remaines customized.)
