Where Purchased: Wilson Jewelry Co., Birmingham, AL
Jimmy Wilson of Wilson Jewelry Co. recently made for me an 8 carat gold banjo bridge for my open-back banjo which has a rim created by Lo Gordon of Cedar Mountain Banjos in Brevard, NC. The rim is all Central American rosewood, and it has no metal tone ring. The banjo's sound was great with various wooden based bridges, but the sound was improved, in my opinion, with the all metal gold bridge. The total cost was $175.00, but would have been less if I had provided the gold (old class ring or the like). Jack
