Superior product.  Wonderful sound.  LOVES to be played right up close, getting that sharp Stanley tone.  Barks.  Bites.  Yes. Not cheap, but definitely worth a try.

This is the second bridge that I've purchased to try to upgrade my Gumby-era Goodtime. I tried the Snuffy Smith III and that was definitely an improvement over the Goodtime stock bridge. But the Sullivan Old Growth is an improvement over the Snuffy. More volume and more bark and pop. Some folks might find the tone a little too bright (particularly the 1st string). Note that this is a thin bridge so be careful when installing it. It also will move if you bump it. But overall, this was a good investment and I'd recommend it to Goodtime owners who want an inexpensive upgrade.

I'd heard that bridges make a difference so I tried a few. Then as I was getting ready to give my banjo to my nephew I put this OG on. Man was I floored! This bridge made my Morgan just bark! I'd had never heard it sound better. If he wasn't such a good kid he might not be getting this one. For sure I'll purchase another for my new custom!

This bridge is amazing, totally transformed my Gold Tone OB250+ into a different banjo. It now sounds brighter and more "pre war" if you like. Im going to purchase another 4 of these so that I have some in reserve for the future before they all get snapped up.
