Sound

Sounds great, really bgreat if you consider what its purpose is.

The setup was well setup. Everything in its place

Appearance

the Tranjo has nicely figured walnut and a nice glossy finish. The only flaws were on the fretboard markers around the inlay where the wood kinda splintered when the holes were drilled for the mother of pearl dots.

Seems like it should last forever. Good hardware,quality wood.

Sam ferris is a really nice guy,with a nice wife that took a lot of time ta answer all my stupid questions about his product without getting angry.

Overall Comments

Nice instrument to fit a kinda difficult role. I think he should have included a soft case for as much as they cost. The fretboard could have been finished slightly better. However Sam is so nice I hate to complain and i know i am pickier than most.
