Banjo has nice old time sound with plenty of volume and sustain. I went with a fiberskyn head on a 12" pot which sounds and looks nice. I put some damping material behind the pot which improved the sound greatly.

The nicest banjo I've ever laid eyes on. The persimmon fretboard is beautiful. The Walnut looks amazing as well.

It looks like it is well constructed. A banjo to be passed down through the generations.

My emails were answered with in the hour. I made a change late in the building process by adding a S scoop and was accommodated to the fullest. Was told the banjo would take 2-4 months to build and received it in 3 months.

I upgraded the bridge and tailpiece which is an option directly through Pisgah Banjo Company. There is also a choice for a hard or soft case. I went with the soft case and saved some money. The soft case looks to be very high quality. The banjo plays like a dream.
