I so much appreciate the beautiful, sustainable American hardwoods used in this banjo (cherry & walnut). Excellent craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of this instrument. The contrast between the cherry, walnut, Richlite (headstock & fretboard) and brass fittings could not be more striking.I requested no inlay.

Within the first two weeks of getting this banjo my band used it in a bar restaurant gig. Our banjo player played it on clawhammer type tunes instead of his Gibson Mastertone. Everone loved it! It seemed to have as least as much volume as the Gibson and it's deep rich tone really stood out.

Patrick was great to deal with - always responded promptly. The banjo was finished and delivered on schedule. Not sure how long the warrenty is. Not an issue.

All the parts are excellent quality. It has an inexpensive bridge which I plan to replace with a compensated Moon bridge.

I could not be happier with this banjo. Generally the appearance of an instrument does not greatly concerns me however, this one is a joy to behold. The main thing I was interested in was the sound. It is exactly like I hoped for - and better.
