I like it a lot. It really has a great sound unplugged. Much louder than I expected. It can get some cool edgy sounds with the pickups and tone knobs coupled with the pickup selector. Unplugged very loud cutting sound. Through an amp it can go from balpin hammer on an anvil to warm and rich. The EBM 5+ has a foam insert under the head to help eliminate resonance in a stage setting.

Setup was great. This banjo was bought by me as a new blem or b stock instrument. It is set up very well and plays wonderfully. Action is good and it's playable right out of the case!

Yes, very nice looking banjo. This was purchased as a blem b stock banjo. The only flaw I can find is on the upper horn inside the scroll there is some unfinished wood. It is very hard to find, but it is there and so it is not perfect cosmetically. It has gold hardware and a gold tele size neck pickup there is basically a hole with a pickup in it. I think a tele from ring would have finished it out better. I am going to add one myself. It has a black head and black tuner buttons.

Hardware seems ok. The tailpiece is not going to last. The tuners aren't the best although they do work and hold tune.

Very good customer service. Not much dealing other than some questions I had which they answered easily over the phone.

The banjo is a looker, the woods and finish along with the black head and gold hardware coupled with the F style body and peg head make for a real conversation piece at jams.

Other than the blem which is not that big of a deal I really like this banjo. It's cool looking easy to play acoustic or plugged in and is a real head turner!
