I needed something to fill in my retirement time. I started clawhammer lessons with Brian eleven months ago (in mid March '15), as a beginner. He has brought me through the various skills (hammer ons, pull offs, slides, etc.), and into drop thumb and double thumbing before Christmas. Hour lessons with flexible schedules present new tunes and material, and seem to go by quickly. If you are looking for a banjo teacher, I would definitely recommend him.
