I would say it sounds very much like the gibson banjos I have heard. It has a old sound to it not like a normal archtop. The people I have showed it to like the sound. Although sound is a very personal thing with banjo players, we all seem to prefer our own ear and setup. I would love for you to hear it. I have tried making sound samples but I just dont think you can get any idea over a PC sound system or recording. Only in the flesh you hear and feel it's real sound and only after you make your own adjustments. I have the head on the low tension side to create an oldtime sound
