Filing the string slots. I use a triangle needle file for slotting my bridge and nuts. Each string pair are spaced 1/8” between them to allow for the vibration of the lower tension of the nylon strings. I made the nut width 1 1/2”, with the string spacing being 1 3/8” between the outside strings. (Center to center of the outside string pairs is 1 1/4”).
