My favorite versiion of this tune. Mike Drayton and I learned from Dick Owings many years ago and I haven't heard it this way too much since.

I got this from the great old time fiddler Sandy Stark when we played in the Swamp Root String Band together. One of my favorites.

This is a favorite tune of the Roadoilers. I got it from Mike Drayton, who got it from Pearl Sivetts, a Missouri fiddler. We generally play it with Bucks in the Brush. Also on the new Roadoilers CD

This is the version the we played in Fennigs All Stars on the first record, in 1972 I think. Kind of notey for the way I play now. I'm a lot lazier than I used to be.

Very catchy tune mined from the Dos Valley Trio record, Jewels of the San Joaquin. A really great recording.

A great French-Canadian tune that we play in the Raodoilers, but I don't hear too much anywhere else.

A funny tune with an extra beat? The Arkansas Sheiks played this tune with the fiddles AEAE. A lot of fun.

Another tune that I learned from Perry Fly of Bolinas, Ca. We sometimes play it with Quince Dillions High D.
