Born: Franklin, LA, 1940. BA, Tulane University, 1962. US Navy (aviator) 1962-1967. United Airlines pilot 1967-1999. Took up tenor banjo in 1965 while in the Navy and have stayed with it ever since. Now live in a suburb of New Orleans.
